Ever since partway into season 2, the Hub's been really aggressive with teaser clips. I managed to avoid all the spoilers myself, but I seem to remember someone saying they spoiled somewhere around 1/3 of the wedding finale footage.

@D Roy: Yeah, that tends to happen when the only criteria for inclusion is "at least one person finds this scary". I don't get half the stuff either, but if it scares someone, it scares someone.

Also, I don't recall them leaking that much of the S2 finale footage. From what I remember, like 90% of the clip we got were from the last four minutes after the plot had been resolved.

Yeah, the clip only showed the wedding ceremony (the real one) and even then JUST Cadance walking down the isle. Non of the clips ever spoiled any surprises relly

also OH that explains it, didn't think anyone had updated the spoiler thread, turns out i had forgotten to add it to my watchlist

The reason there's so much of it is that's how much on-demand services give as samples. Its not an official preview clip or anything, just a sample to entice people to buy it on-demand.

The Hub did have a party in Culver City where they screened "A Canterlot Wedding" a week before it aired on TV, but fortunately they still managed to keep things under wraps until the premiere.

Speaking of which, they're having another week-early screening party in New York City this weekend

, with "The Crystal Empire" (and episodes of the new Littlest Pet Shop).
