The first episode I saw on the premiere date was Fall Weather Friends. It also happened to be my first episode. I went back to watch the rest after that and have been hooked ever since.

I didn't even know there was a new show until I kept seeing people talking about it everywhere I went, and I mostly avoided it for a while. I was by no means a hater; I have one of the G1 movies on VHS and watched it constantly as a kid. I just never really felt the need to watch FIM and I can't remember what changed my mind.

Same here. I started watching with pilot and loved it, it was my favorite epsiode for most of season.

Because he know I'm going to go out in this plane and I'm going to remove one of His creations from His universe.

I... was honestly hooked by like, 15 minutes into the first episode.

In a way from the first minute, really. The theme song just but this big, dorky, shameful and happy smile on my face. It's probably worth mentioning upon looking at them, I actually enjoy the first two gens. I dunno. there's something just inherently endearing about the whole franchise for me.
