It's the perfect combination of extremely low-brow humor that doesn't resort to anything that would push the rating above pg-13, man-whore, and the bright cutesy art style.

Above all, it's the style that makes those comics.

Many males would apparently like to be free use their sexuality. Polygamy is one outlet. And Madmax is obviously knows who her audience is, though that last bit was probably for herself.

Yes but keep in mind the one comic specifically said "bigamy" was legal in Equestria, not "Polygamy" and not like Shining really know what he was doing when he married Queenie.
