@Orion: In any case, undeads have extra weaknesses when fantasy stuff comes into play. Turn Undead for holy folk, Dispel/Control Undead for good necros, and weapons with Holy Wrath brands (or elemental brands) work wonders.

Yeah, most people never think past the shoot zombie in the face stage.

People who fantasizes being in a zombie apocalypse, or any apocalypse, should consider whether if they would be able to survive if they are thrown into places like Amazon jungle, Sahara desert, or Siberian forest.

If they can't, they have no chance surviving in a zombie apocalypse either.

@JT: Also, most of the ammo manufacturers would be nonfunctional, so bullets will eventually run out, and without spare parts and care kits, those firearms will eventually break down.

But guns are typically useless against magic.

Plus, nobody dies in Equestria, which means no killing.

Yeah, I hope you have the knowledge and resource to properly maintain a blade or any kind of weapon.

It's not like Ponies could use guns anyway they lack fingers.

I'd most likely just go all Dead Rising 2 on them, then die.

@Ace: That's true of pretty much anything really. I mean, the vast majority of trades workers will be gone; you'll be incredibly lucky to have a doctor or mechanic. Cars might be viable for a while, but once gas runs out or it breaks down you're boned unless you happen to be a mechanic.

But really, the main issue I'd have with being in a zombie apocalypse would be the finality of it. It would be kinda cool to say, roleplay one for a week or so, but the idea that once it occurs you won't be able to do anything with your life other than scrambling not to die just sucks. Once it happens, anything else you could possibly do for fun goes out the window.

Which is why Equestria is better. You actually have options of how to spend you time.
