For anyone interested, Flight of the Alicorn just hit a crazy epic conclusion. I have to admit when that fic first popped up on EQD, I was not expecting a sprawling and intricately detailed political conspiracy thriller, much less one that made enough of a name for itself to inspire so much absolutely outstanding art
