Carrot Cake is pretty cool. I like himas well. Though I must admit that he has a lot of stiff ompetition. I still think that Fancy Pants is best staliion and Big Macintosh and Shining Armor are high up there as well.
(Though like JT, I wasn't really impressed with Braeburn.)

I do love the way the show has expanded upon Carrot Cake's character in season 2. In season 1 he was just kinda there, but now you can see that he's desperately trying to stay sane in a town that refuses to allow sanity, and combined with suddenly having both children and Pinkie to deal with, it's made him a nervous wreck.

Nah, I don't think he's a nervous wreck. Seems pretty calm to me, though he does freak out on occasion, like with the MMMM and when he was making sure that Pinkie was sure that she could take care of Pound and Pumpkin.

Yeah, I wouldn't say nervous wreck so much a showing the stress of having to juggle so many responsibilities. I get the idea that he's kind of a worrywart and Mrs. Cake balances him out.

@JT: yeah, in Baby Cakes, he only started freaking out when they remembered they had to do a massive order, and even then he was still fairly on top of things.
And the nice thing about that Tumblr is I can totally hear their voices.

@ed There was also the fact that he was pretty freaked out in the beginning of the episode, forgetting to shave and scrambling to come up with an explanation for his children's races (which he didn't appear to be entirely sure of himself) though that was pretty understandable.

Yeah, high strung is probably the best way to put it. He's not quite as neurotic as say, Twilight can be. He just gets flustered easily.
