Before she enters, there is no party. After she leaves, it's already in full swing, and no one knows how it started.

Stilts and snappy dressing, girls, you trying to cosplay Slendermane or something?

[up] Nah, she just sneaks around and springs ambush parties on anypony who needs it.

Making your fanfic available in well formatted ebook format is also a good way to get people to read it.

Also prereaders/betas. Having someone to point out the weaknesses in your writing helps a good deal.

Now here's an interesting fic that demonstrates the Sun Princess's full might.

I should really try writing one one of these days. But I'm terrible at writing.

time for my report on pony fanfiction

read Halo: On The Wings Of Angels. That's right, Halo crossed with mlp. Twilight botches another spell(but it's not her fault this time!) and finds herself in a strange city in the middle of a fight between human and Covenant forces. Much camaraderie and asskicking ensues. Or at least it seems like it will, it's only 6 chapters in atm...

also read Fallout Equestria: Pink Eyes. This was somehow simultaneously the most depressing and adorable fic I've yet read. A little filly who doesn't realize the apocalypse happened goes on a quest to find her mom. The wasteland is an unforgiving place, but fortunately for her, her innocence and idealism are just as invulnerable as she is. But what will happen when she learns the truth, that her mother has been dead for 200 years?

I'm catching up on, The Life and Times of a Winning Pony. It's about the adventures of Cloudkicker.

From what I've heard, the premise of Pink Eyes is ok but the writing quality isn't up to par.

It's third-person, but as interpreted by the protagonist (a little filly). I tried to get through it, but I got bored after the first few chapters.

What is that? Third person limited?

Yeah, sounds like 3rd person limited to me.

I also found the first couple of chapters kinda boring, but the story really pulled me in before too long. Although I will agree that the writing quality leaves a bit to be desired, as far as grammar and word choice goes.

I think third person limited is pretty cool, especially when it follows different people, because the narration changes to show their perspective.

@Story: That's why I like writing in 3rd person limited more than other PO Vs. Lets you get into a character's head without limiting the perspective too much or scattering your attention.
