It's gone down in ranking after hitting number three. It's now sitting at 17. I heard that earlier today it was at 21, so it looks like its bouncing around.

As for size of the fandom, dunno. But I saw a junior high school kid on the train yesterday wearing a MLP belt and his friends didn't seem to be giving him any shit.

I wonder if that Empire is good or evil. If good it will be headscratching that they use "Empire" for good guys when Hasbro was against using "Queen" for Celestia title.

@ the whole Celestia not being a queen thing: regardless of whatever reason Hasbro gave for making her a princess, you have to consider Luna as well. Having Tia and Luna both be princesses, and thus on equal footing, is good. But as far as I know(and I may be wrong here), you can't have two queens. Having Tia as queen and Luna as princess throws off the whole relationship dynamic they've got going on.

of course, if having two queens really is a thing, than IGNORE ME!

That Crystal Empire (even if their are good guys in future episode) sound like perfect nation to be used in fanfics, like istead Zebra Empire in Fallout Equestria.

But even if thats true, FOE have still more stuff confirmed or similar in season 2 so one more joss is not that bad.

This is why I think princess title is better in the end.
