, as a result of that discussion we had earlier in the thread, but I'm afraid it's just not for me. I very much enjoyed the both of the Dresden Fillies fics, but something about Denerians was just terribly offputting for me. I think it had something to do with Pinkie being too meta. I mean, it's not Pinkie if she's not a least a little meta, as far as I'm concerned, but this story just went way overboard with it.

Made it to chapter 3 before I stopped reading.

@Blissey It's problem with 90% of otherwise good fics that Pinkie never speaks a single sentence not referencing something or breaking the fourth wall.

Jesus, Fluttershy cheering reminds me of the normal speaking volume of a girl in my class.

She has to repeat everything three times usually, although I have heard her at a louder volume a lot.

@Steven: Nope, it's the spectrum barrier. It's a side-effect of the energy- (Magic, snort snort) -rich air creating resistance against Dashie's attempt to outfly the wind.

Also, she's lucky. Scott Hedgehog didn't survive breaking the barrier.
