Well, Sisterhooves wasn't Spectacular like the episodes before it, but it was a solid episode and an interesting look into an ordinary day of sorts.
@van Are you watching "Best Night Ever"? Blueblood is a massive douche, but "The Colour You Bleed" is about his redemption. I haven't read it, but apparently it's good.

I tend to avoid Blueblood redemption stories just because I enjoy hating him so much more.
Ditto; he's a lot more entertaining as a douchebag.
Season 1 done: best ep "Dog and Pony Show" worst ep "Ticket Master". Over all this season is extreamly hit of miss. Mostly miss IMO.
I think that goes past douchebag territory. The most amusing thing about it is how stupidly petty he is.
@van "Dog and Pony Show" is one of my favorite episodes, but I believe you're one of the few others here to enjoy it.

and nobody thinks to tell Ginger that ban evasion is a bad idea
I could have sworn we did. Maybe I misremembered.

I kind of like "Ticket Master" just because it actually contributes to the finale's plot. I wish they'd done something like that in Season 2. Maybe the letter the dragons burned in "Dragon Quest" could've been the invite to the wedding, or Rarity could've met Shiny during "Sweet and Elite".

Ticketmaster was one of my favorites when I first watched it, but it didn't hold up so well on repeat viewings.

I have to say that I think Look Before You Sleep is really underrated. It's probably in my top five for S1.
My favorite part of Ticketmaster was how RD completely misses the point at the end. And there's also other hilarious moments like Fluttershy's spring cleaning.

I also think LBYS is better than most people give it credit for. I think its around when I started liking Rarity more as well.
