@Mousa: That's terrifying.

And yeah, if it's pony related it's fair game, as far as I'm concerned. The show is so tightly involved with the fans that it would be a disservice to discount extraneous stuff like that. I mean, we've pretty much forced several characters into existence through sheer force of will.

So, I just showed my little brother (he's 12 years old) the first episode.

He loves it.

He is a sarcastic little runt and hopefully prolonged exposure to this series will have a positive effect on him. Did it have any on me? Huh, can't remember.

That reminds me that I haven't finished the second season. I think I stopped watching after 6th. Yeah, one of these days I should pick it up again.

Yeah, you definitely need to finish season 2. It has some real good stuff towards the end.

I would make no sense for any of them to put anything on to go swimming, outside of flippers/goggles. Rarity would definitely wear a stylish sunhat, though.

Well, the most common fanon explanation for pony swimsuits I've heard is that they don't want to get sand in certain place's........

@Marston Which is more or less jossed by the fact that we've seen ponies swimming before, and they didn't wear swimsuits. That, and it in no way justifies bikini-style suits, only more covering swim trunks.

Meh, I'd honestly be more intreasted in the Sea Ponies if they ever showed up then the pony's in swimsuits anyway.

To be fair I don't think we've ever seen them swimming on a proper beach though. But really I think you're right. They'd only have swimsuits due to Rule of Funny, if that. If they do have a beach episode they'll probably focus more on beach balls or Pinkie getting attacked by a shark (but not really) or something.

Man, that barber pony with the mustache has a really evil look on his face. I don't think they've ever changed up a toy's expression like that before, though the mustache already sets it apart.

Heh, I just noticed that he even has a thematically appropriate red white, and blue striped bow-tie. I think that's the first time one of the blind-bag toys has had an article of clothing.
