I think its because of the S3 "spoiler" images of ponies with multicolor sheep that have been popping up. And the fact that the original picture of the map was very blurry and the curly on the leading edge of the D looked like an apostrophe.

I was the person who first misread the map that way. The whole thing is so darn blurry it makes it very hard to read. Plus the D in Badlands looks like this
