In the map, I notice a small town hidden in a forest just east of Canterlot and just below Neighagra Falls. I think it says Hollow Shades. I wonder what's that about. If they don't do something with Applewood I will be disappoint. Actually, there's so much geography ripe for interesting stories.

And in that season 2 poster, I like all the small touches:

Future Twi is freaked out by Time Turner's hourglass.
The CMC is clearly invading Luna's personal space.
Shining Armor looks really satisfied with himself.
Bon-Bon is bemused by Lyra (again). Granny is not amused.
The Big Lebowski Ponies.
Berry hanging out with Carrot Top and Colgate.
Oh my goodness, it's Sibsy!
Iron Will is obviously trying to sell his assertiveness course to the Marketplace ponies. I'm not sure they need it except for the nerd.

@Ed: Hollow Shades sounds like a Shout Out to Sleepy Hollow. Maybe Twi's scary story in Read it and Sleep had more truth in it than intended.
