@Turtle Filthy Rich being an antagonist would probably be extremely OOC for him. He was quite kind and reasonable in his appearance, more or less confirming that DT's bad attitude was because she's just spoiled.

@Seraph Well, duh! I still don't know why people are so scared. Nothing is over until we have confirmation of cancellation, same as with any show.

Yeah, Filthy Rich's reaction to his daughter insulting Granny Smith was pretty much: "You will hop around in a bunny costume as part of the zap apple ritual, or else!"

@Turtle If he were antagonistic, I'd say it would more likely be something like threatening to drive the Apples, The Cakes, and Rarity out of business with pony!Walmart

Im not sure Filthy Rich would be a intentional antagonist. He would see it as bringing progress to Ponyville, but to the others it would be destroying their small town life.

I think the show has about as much of a chance of being cancelled at this point, as I do of buying a yacht.

I just want to know WHY, why only 13 episodes?

[up] and yeah, any exec that tries to cancel this show now has to be brain damaged, i mean even by network exec standards.

[up][up]And the chances of this show being cancelled after this season is about the same chance of me getting a girlfriend this year...

Best theory I have as to why 13 episodes is that there is a movie in the works?

Well, the person in charge of the show has already said she has not heard any talk about a movie yet. So that would be a no.

Maybe it's actually 26 episodes, but every one is a two parter?

No, the most reasonable theory is that they find it easier to run 13 episode seasons than 26. Shows change their season formats all the time.

[up]No they're confirmed to be normal length episodes.

It would make sense for them to drop production rate a bit. From what I've heard, 26 episodes per year had the staff working at twice the rate of the normal production rate for a cartoon (1 week work time per episode instead of 2 weeks). It would be in their best interest not to burn out their staff.

What do you guys think the first scene with Shining Armor in season 3 will be?

I wanna see Twilight waking him out of bed in the annoying younger sibling way.

So if anyone was still interested in that webcomic of mine, here are some crude drawings of the latest character, Aviary:

Yeah, the only reason that I know about Angela Anaconda is because of the Nostalgia Critic and Jesu Otaku's review of Digimon the Movie.

I came across it in a wiki walk here, though I vaguely remembered the name from TV as a kid. (I never saw it but it was mentioend on tv.)

Also Dottie, are you really going to watch The Wizard?
