The only thing I'm the element of is out of my element.

YOU'RE OUT OF YOUR FUCKING ELEMENT, DONNY!

That's what I told my older sister when she told me I had to see it. I said that I hate romantic movies, but she was all, "Trust me you'll like it, " and I was all, "Oh yeah? Does it have time travel in it?" and she was like, "Yes."

Yes but it's stupid time travel. You should go see P Rimer or something instead.

Plus, Detective Blake throws his badge in the river! Because fuck due process!

Who needs the system when you can torture suspects and embezzle from your daddy's company!

Oh my god, I don't even know if I'm serious!

[up] I've seen Primer. It was awesome. I'm saying, it was nice to try something new and not hate it. Say, where's ginger? He could learn a thing or two today...

I don't even remember what my element was supposed to be. Like Analysis or something. I dunno.

Time for sleep now. Goodnight everyone.

But that "collateral damage" (which included car wrecks, mind you) could lead to lost lives. So... he doesn't mind killing by accident? (Worse, he was hurting cops... the people whose side he's explicitly on)

Admittedly its been awhile since I saw the Dark Knight all the way through, but I remember finding the whole "let's blame Batman" thing to be a huge pulled-out-of-your-ass-just-for-the-sake-of-a-bittersweet-ending thing.

Night, JT.

[up] But he can take it.

Jeez, I get goosebumps every time I hear that speech...

'Sides... I think all the death makes for a bittersweet ending without Batman's reputation being destroyed.

Oh? And how are Yakko and Wacko doing?

Can I call you Dottie? (I actually asked before but you didn't react.)

@Moe/Surpise: Read the part here that says "Why pin Two-face's crimes on Batman?".

Good night, J Teeth.

@ Surprise: Maybe you explained what happened to Moe's account, but I must have missed it. Please don't eat me.

I'm saying, it was nice to try something new and not hate it.

I do try new things sometimes. I read a book in a genre I normally wouldn't read since everyone talked about how awesome it is. Of course it turned out to not be that great but whatever.

Yeah, it wasn't like a totally awesome movie or anything, but I loved the idea of getting to meet all those people I'm inspired by even though they died before I was born, ya know?

[up]Yeah, I'm just quoting the Animaniacs and stuff. By "her, " I meant Dot Warner. Call me whatever you want.

@Syd - Moe only uses his real account for non-Pony threads now.

Speaking of which, I'll let Moe back on now....

@Marston - Okay, a lot of those sound plausible. So maybe Batman needed to become a perceived villain.

Doesn't absolve my other criticisms though.

How about the element of SURPRISE!

Is that some weird symbiotic relationship?
