But they can be so much more entertaining.

C'mon, if Batman didn't torture suspects and withhold evidence from the police, do you think he'd still be as Crazy Awesome?

[up]I like Batman, not Crazy Steve.
Because he know I'm going to go out in this plane and I'm going to remove one of His creations from His universe.

I really like a good Comedic Heroic Sociopath myself.

I like a straightforward hero now and again, I just find the morally questionable or conflicted ones a bit more interesting. For example, in Mark Waid's Incorruptible, a super villain becomes a hero after the superman analogue goes apeshit, because he figures some ought to protect the common people, but has no idea how, so he just does the opposite of what he did previously. He's trying to do good, but he has no idea how to do so..
Journalism is just a gun. It's only got one bullet in it, but if you aim right, that's all you need.

[up][up][up]Who's Crazy Steve?

And Batman is Crazy Awesome, because he has spent his entire life training and obsessing with superhuman single-mindedness so that he could go back home and fight crime while dressed as a giant bat.

All I'm saying is that there's probably something wrong with him.

[up] Hey, I read that. It was pretty cool.

Except I was kinda disappointed when I found out Max Damage wasn't his real name.

I also have a soft spot for laughably evil villains. They're even cooler when they're really effective.

Turtlebutter asked:

I just got a sizeable bonus check at work...

Do I buy one of those horribly overpriced Derpies... or a new video card for my computer?

I'd get the video card. More bang for your buck (depending on how old your computer is.)

There's plenty wrong with Bruce Wayne, but that's part of what makes him awesome.

So it looks like I just got canned. I should be more annoyed that they gave me two hours notice before my shift, but I'm just thrilled that I don't have to go in today.

@Crow: Exactly! He's a very unhappy and troubled person, and when he stands on top of high things and looks down, brooding menacingly, with his chiseled good looks and incredible body... All I'm saying is, Selina Kyle is a pretty lucky girl.

I actually had two jobs, but the other one isn't full time. The one I just lost was through a temp agency, so they'll let me know when there's another lined up. It isn't like I screwed up, they just didn't need us temps anymore.

I'm just a temp as well, but I know how long they need me for. It sucks that they dropped that on you all of a sudden.

Eh, I'm honestly not broken up about it at all. I was pretty desperate to get out of there anyway, the only annoying bit is how sudden it was.

So, my last sleep was around 2:30 yesterday afternoon. It's now 6:23 in the evening here. In the past couple of hours, I've looked at my keyboard a few times, and it's looked like one end or the other is tilting up at me. No drugs are in play here. Should I be concerned? The keyboard looks normal-ish now.

@Syd: Nothing to be worried about, that's perfectly normal. Just keep it up for a few more hours and you'll start to see the seams in the universe.
