If he is the former Applejack Pony though, he is really good at disguises. Yeesh.

Eeesh. I picked a grand old time to come back, didn't I?

I've only barely seen Pinka so I can't really make any statements about him, but it's odd that CDRW got banned because... well, yeah. What he said was way out of character, he can't have been serious. I hope that gets worked out.

For something I can comment on, sorta, can I ask the opinions of the folks here? I've been workign on a drawing lately, and I'm colouring it, but I've come upon a tough decision, which I put to you: Red

All three colours have something going for them. Colour Theory, unfortunately, isn't my strong point

Macross Concerts are crazy awesome

. Seriously, though ponifying Macross would be a fun experiment. Congrats parasprites, you're the new Vajra.

Well yes, that goes without saying. I need a specific mission. :P

For example, here are a few of the others:

Rainbow Dash (Loyalty): An annual flying contest attended by Rainbow Dash's old combat unit has been assaulted by Changelings.
- Basic Victory: Defeat all enemies.
- +1: Win the race to the end of the valley to earn a cash prize.
- +2: Keep all three members of Rainbow's old unit alive to earn a class upgrade item.
- +3: Keep all three alive and win the race to earn Rainbow's ultimate weapon.
Applejack (Honesty): Changelings have taken the identities of townspeople from Applejack's home town and from the local tribe of nomads to stir up old tensions between the groups and drive them to attack each other.
- Basic Victory: Defeat the Changeling commander.
- +1: Do not kill any of the real townspeople or nomads to earn a special item.
- +2: Defeat all the changelings posing as townspeople or nomads to earn a class upgrade item.
- +3: Defeat all the changelings without killing any of the real people to earn Applejack's ultimate weapon.
Rarity (Generosity): The diamond mine that is the crucial industry of Rarity's hometown has been taken over by changelings taking the forms of monsters.
- Basic victory: Defeat all the changelings.
- +1: Rescue all the captured miners to earn a special item.
- +2: Collect all the caches of diamonds and turn them over to the town to earn a class upgrade item.
- +3: Collect all the caches and rescue all the miners to earn Rarity's ultimate weapon.

And so forth. So I need an idea along those lines, but suited to Twilight.

^^ I say purple. It was a royal color in the middle ages due to the expensiveness of the dye.

Twi's mission should have her seek to unify as many scattered units as she can under her banner with the support of her friends. Bonus Points for !talking to the different faction commanders and successfully convincing them to work together.

That doesn't really work either, because this is the third act and you've already been doing that throughout the entire game, so you'll already have nearly all if not all of your units by this point. Convincing your enemies to lay down their arms and join your cause is one of Fire Emblem's core play mechanics. :P

@Wryte and Ace: While Wryte is correct about purple being a royal colour - in fact the only reason it's even an option as the picture is based on my story TCYB wherein Red is noted to be Blueblood's symbolic colour and Aqua is the national colour of Aloa - but I'm actually more concerned with what looks best, rather than making sense.

@Wryte: Well then, maybe have Twi earn her Element in a special scenario of some kind? It's kinda hard for me to think of something, but perhaps they try something else and it fails, and they proceed to re-enact the whole "The elements aren't dead, silly villains!" sequence.

Well if it makes you feel any better, for over 50% of the story his name was red.

There's a bit of symbolism involved in the colours I won't get into, but as I mentioned Red was his symbolic colour throughout the story.

Hmm, that might not be a half bad idea...

Strand Twilight somewhere alone, pepper the map with changelings taking the forms of her friends, make her find the real ones and—no, better. Discord gets directly involved and corrupts the other girls, leaving Twilight on her own to have to re-recruit them again (i.e., pull the season 2 opener again)... yes, I think I can build that into something workable!

@Wryte: Just a random idea, but:

Twilight Sparkle (Magic). Changelings have invaded the high-security magical laboratories of Canterlot and stolen a number of powerful spellbooks and magical items!

Basic victory: Defeat all enemies.
+1: Recover all magical items. Prize: a magical object that increases Twilight's magical power.
+2: Recover all books (books burn if attacked directly, so this is tricky). Prize: a new, powerful spell.
+3: Recover all books and magical items, and drive off the Ursa Major that the changelings awakened as a last resort to defeat Twilight. Prize: Twilight's ultimate weapon, the Ursa's Tooth, that can be used to summon the Ursa against her enemies once in a while — extremely destructive, but dangerous to Twilight too.
