You were playing first edition, weren't you? Even the makers of The Game admit that first edition was unbalanced and dull. You should give Game2.0 a try; I've been playing for over a year and haven't gotten bored yet.

The worst fanfic I can remember reading was an InuYasha fic on FFDN many years back in which Kagome turned out to be an adopted youkai with the powers of something like a dozen different elements, including things that weren't elements, like "healing." She learned this after spending six months off-screen at home training herself into an ultimate warrior, at which point her "mother" dropped this bomb on her literally as she was heading out the door to return to the past. Her reaction amounted to just barely more than "kthxbai."

Romance Reports has a really stupid plot that turns Luna and Twilight into horrible ponies. I gave up on it pretty quickly.

Fallout Equestria I really enjoyed though. Possibly because the themes resonate with me. That said, the beggining wasn't great and I did find the raiders too For the Evulz.

However, if you want a fanfic that deserves more attenton, I have to go with The Worst Bakers in Equestria.

Not all raiders are that. They range from horrible monsters to just bandits who rob others. Not to mentions those who stopped being raider.
