I don't ship. But there are a few relationships in the show that I think are close enough that it would be possible for them to eventually develop into something more than mere friendship, if someone wanted to write it that way. Specifically:Pinkie/DashFlutter/DashTwilight/ApplejackThat's as close as I get to shipping.

Popularity, shmopularity. They're cute together; I like the rivalry angle.
On a completely different note, I suddenly hope that there's a PMV out there of Applejack performing Weird Al's "Amish Paradise." Thank you, iTunes random play order.
Honestly, the only mane 6 ship that makes any sense to me is Fluttershy/Rainbow Dash, and that's only because they're old childhood friends and are the closest out of the group. Even then, I don't really support it. I only ever actually support ships with canonical establishment beyond close friendship.

Like I have stated several times before. I ship for fun.

Good evening everypony! I'm back from Las PegasusVegas! I saw Mystere and Zumanity, had a great time!
well ok, the 7 hour bus ride back to LA wasn't that great. But I still had fun!
did I miss anything?
Well, having characters break character "for fun", isn't fun for me, so eh. I'm not going to stop anyone else from doing it though. Just don't expect me to like it.
Hmm. I always thought Appledash was the obvious choice.
Applejack and Rainbow just seem like good friends/rivals to me.Same here. I'm not opposed to shipping, I just very rarely find any pairings that don't break character that aren't already canon. I suppose I "ship" canon all the time.

You're welcome.
Wait what the fuck why am I posting here even. Quick, stop reading this post before it's too late or you'll be marginally inclined to respond to it!

Breaking Character is a YMMV trope. Really. and Remember "No Fanfiction is Canon"
@Lurker
I do like Flutterdash, too. But boy, way to take all the fun out of fanfiction. :P
^ What he said. Fics that just throw characters together without building up to it naturally from the canon version of their relationship bug me, too.
