Fun fact - "Hoe" often refers to a loose woman, but did you know that "rake" is the equivalent term for a man? It's true, i.e. A Rake's Progress, a series of paintings by William Hogarth, and The Rake's Progress, an opera by Igor Stravinsky.
The term isn't that unknown these days. "The Rake" was the antagonist of The Decemberists' rock opera The Hazards of Love.

Eq D posts about the entire fandom. Fanfics, fanart, music, news...
Everfree...doesn't. Sure, they're entertaining and get a lot of interviews, but they're not really representative of the whole fandom.

Shaun Scotellaro is Sethisto. And I don't have a problem with the site itself, but I do have a BIG problem with the person who runs it. He's obviously The Mole because he has such a boner for Howard Stern that he feels the need to report every single thing he says about us. And he has a fetish for Trixie which is very annoying and it's gotten to the point where most brony musicians get shunned unless the song is about Trixie (for Seth) or Rarity (for Cereal).

I have submitted all my hard work and only ONE has gotten accepted. And that is the one I put the least amount of effort into. One of mine took over 24 straight hours in Guitar Pro and they IGNORED it.

Howard Stern news I could do without. The latest one just left me asking "why?" I don't see where you're coming from with the rest of the stuff though. Trixie is just a Running Gag, and I kind of like it. Don't pay attention to the music much though, because it's usually dubstep, boring, or boring dubstep. And boring dubstep re-mixes of the original songs, which really shouldn't be in the same room with dubstep.

Yeah, I haven't really noticed much hoopla with the music either, mainly because almost none of it is the type of stuff I like listening to. And yeah, the Trixie thing is more of a Running Gag than anything else.
EDIT: Also, I just looked through the first page of media posts and saw precisely one song each involving Trixie and Rarity, and given that they're both popular, I really don't see much of a bias. I have no clue why your music didn't make it in, but I'd be more likely to chalk it up to differences of opinion rather than "this isn't about Trixie, therefore trash it".

He's a Shock Jock who basically makes his living off of being offensive. This show ended up getting target in one or two of his shows.

What exactly makes you think that? As far as I can tell there have only been like 3 or 4 posts involving the guy. I'd also note that just last year he ended up in Forbes most powerful celebrities list
