@Mio It would be in very bad taste to introduce two apparently important characters, put a lot of work into characterizing them well, and then never use them ever again. What problems did you have with them again?

LOL. Hey, I made a deliberate decision not to elaborate on the origins of Celestia, Luna, and Discord because I've got a sneaking suspicion it would get Jossed early in the new season. And now that's probably gonna be the one thing that we don't find out.

I may still be able to fix this though. I've indicated that Cadance is a princess of Equestria, but I could take the route of giving her dual citizenship or something like that. And I've really been wanting to have another canon kingdom to work with besides Equestria.
