It's a game I made myself so you probably wouldn't have heard of it. Yes I've heard of Rayman but I've never played it.

Finally we know what the back of the Crystal Empire "Crystal Fashion Style Princess Cadance & Shining Armor" toy box says: "Princess Cadance and Shining Armor share a big responsibility! They lead the Crystal Empire together!"

Yes. You can play it if you want.

So basically Princess Cadance is revealed to be the princess of... Oh... My...

Well I give major props to hasbro for not using them as One-Off characters.

Hm. I wonder how much the Crystal Empire stuff will come into the show? Possibly the subject of the two-part season premiere, maybe?

Is it possible that the Crystal empire will span the entire set of 13 episodes as an arc? If the place is large enough there is plenty of room for Slice of Life stories in between the adventures.

Crystal Empire?

Something tells me that the Crystal Ponies are going to have an air of antagonism to them, or the writers are going to take some major historical liberties.

I think it's safe to say that hte Crystal Empire will at least feature in the premiere.

Also, story, I must give you props on your game. Never thought I'd see Cave Story, Iji, and Ben Drowned all in one game. Looks very interesting.

Song indicates that the mane six are going to try to "save" the Crystal ponies by bringing back their traditions and stuff. Indication that Cadence is using her magic, but it won't "last forever."

Theory: Cadence and Shining Armor set themselves up as rulers of the Crystal Empire. Crystal ponies are all fighting each other, Cadence uses her love-magic to get them to stop fighting each other, Twilight and friends try to get a festival going to bring back their traditions to bring about a sense of community.

And then, possibly, a bad guy shows up.

"Crystal Empire" is featured in its own line of toys and is Dummied Out waiting to be featured in a couple of the quizzes on Hasbro's Pony Wedding microsite, but it's "Crystal Kingdom" that's mentioned in the Crystal Fair Song and in the title of Shout! Factory's upcoming third DVD Adventures in the Crystal Kingdom...

If Doughnut Steel/Volcainius turns out to be volcano-based you'll never hear the end of it from me he might try to "melt" the crystal ponies into lava for some ridiculous reason.

I still don't see where you're getting this volcano association. Besides, the crystal ponies look like normal ponies in the storybook.

That occurred to me, too. Might be that the crystal ponies aren't a new race at all. It's just all the stuff around them is crystal.

I just don't know what went, um...

Please stop making villains cute. It ain't fair.

I am taking a bet here and putting all my ponies into one bag.

I bet that the Crystal Kingdom is an arc longer than the standard two episode opener and may possibly have a recurring antagonist.

Hmm. That'd move the action away from Ponyville, though.

@Swas Because Volcanoes = Lava, Lava = Rocks + Heat, and Rocks = Gems/Crystals.

@Pannic but that would mean Trixie would make a return for legitimate reasons. She could try showing her stuff in the Crystal Kingdom. And besides we spent two whole seasons in ponyville (With the occasional Canterlot/Other), maybe it's time to expand?

Responses:

1. But that'll ruin all my planned fanfiction.

2. "Legitimately giving Trixie a reason to return" is not a good case to make.

1. OUCH. But hey that's the risk everyone has to take when writing fanfics on a evolving character based show.

2. Okay fine, Trixie returns to ponyville, Except wait, why the fuck would she do that?

2A. My point about allowing a fresh view on things still stands.
