Well the tricks on you because I aliased sh to a custom shell that only allows whitelisted commands. And I modified the kernal keymap so you can't type in those special control characters to escape.

No, because that command uses package names, not file names.

apt-get: Command line package tool

install: Command passed to it to install…

linux-knowledge: A (in this case fake) software package that's in a repository in your software sources

My only knowledge from Linux comes from my Programming classes because we have to use Linux computers.

I've only learned what I've had to from experience running the Ubuntu 11.10 distro. Which is mainly how to use apt-get and ssh

This is probably just Ubuntu, but you'd need a "sudo" on that if you're trying to "apt-get install" something.
