He's not actually. They had already designed the game before Season 2.

There are some very minor Season 2 things added in, like Pinkie's Party Cannon, but all playable characters will be from Season 1.

He is not. They had the character list locked at Season One characters only back when they started the project, and they've stuck with that policy thus far.

Why do people listen to depressing music when they feel bad?

Is it because they enjoy feeling depressed or is it because they take some grim satisfaction in knowing it could be worse?

Listening to Smile Smile Smile and I'm noticing things in the music that I hadn't noticed before. Unfortunately Pinkie's singing is drowned out. I hope we get an OST with the original mixes. No background noise, no background vocals drowning out the main vocals.
