Well, ponibooru is over, so now derpibooru is the only big image site.
Wow. In case none of you have looked at the main WA thread page, someone made a thread specifically to bash us (Bronies that is, not this thread specifically) XD
The thread got locked, obviously :P

@Truteal: I wouldn't define your position as 'Hating', more like: "It's not to my tastes and I don't really enjoy it." That's reasonable.
I mean something like this: Count how many posts someone made on a Sunday from 12:00 AM to 12:59 AM, do that for the other hour-long periods of time on the other days of the week, then make a percentage of how many of the posts are during a certain time slot on a certain day, then another percentage comparison for the days as a whole.
In a set period or for all time?

I have not heard one argument against MLP that holds any water. They're all either subjective or riddled with logical fallacies.

True. Guy got shut down pretty quick anyway by the people that came to the thread to look. Basically "People like what they like, don't knock it, this is also against the rules so someone needs to lock it."
And that's all I have to say about that.
Tick Tock, goes the clock/ He cradled and he rocked her/ Tick Tock, goes the clock/Till River kills the Doctor.
No, I can totally understand being put off by the bright colors, excessive whimsy, and obvious morals. I'm not, though, so I like it.
Eeyup. The only valid complaints I can see are "this personally doesn't appeal to me" and "the more militant fans are annoying".
Because no one who visits that thread will ever see the rest of the Western Animation forum and see your big flame title on it, naturally.
Well you got me.
Anyway, welcome to the thread Saint!

The hilarious thing is that he was probably gunning for a rage-y response, and pretty much all of us just find it amusing.
Well, sometimes an opinion is flat out factually inaccurate. Like, saying death metal takes no talent, when a musical analysis of one of the more technical/progressive bands would prove otherwise. Also, some would say that the characters are flat and have no depth, which a thorough watching would disprove.
If it's not your thing, it's not your thing. But to make a judgment which is based on something that can be factually disproved is just foolish.
Okay, maybe the thing about character depth is a bad analogy. I mean, some say the animation is flat-out bad. It's one thing not to like it, but really? Take one good look at Fluttershy's dramatic camera move or the Smile song and you'll be proven wrong. That does take talent to do that stuff with flash.
